Pop superstar Shakira has postponed scheduled concerts in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates due to rising regional tensions linked to the ongoing conflict involving Iran. The singer was set to perform April 1 at Stadium 974 as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, but the show has been removed from official listings and the date is now marked “to be confirmed.”
Her April 4 appearance at the OFFLIMITS Music Festival in Abu Dhabi has also been postponed, with the event rescheduled for November. Despite the disruptions, Shakira received positive news after being named among the nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2026, making her the first Colombian artist ever nominated. If inducted, she would become the first South American solo performer to receive the honor, adding to a career that already includes multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy awards.
