The Las Vegas Aces reinforced their dominance by re-signing A’ja Wilson to a record three-year supermax deal reportedly worth $5 million, the richest contract in WNBA history. The four-time MVP remains the cornerstone of a team that has won three championships in the past four seasons. Team president Nikki Fargas emphasized Wilson’s importance, while coach Becky Hammon highlighted her unmatched impact. The Aces have also secured key players like Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray and Jewell Loyd, keeping their championship core intact. Wilson continues to dominate, leading the league in scoring and blocks while earning MVP and sharing Defensive Player of the Year honors last season. With added depth including Chennedy Carter, Las Vegas is focused on sustaining its dynasty and chasing more titles.

The Las Vegas Aces made a strong statement about their future by bringing back their biggest star, A’ja Wilson, on a long-term deal. The reigning champions locked in the four-time MVP with a reported three-year supermax contract worth around $5 million, making it the richest deal in WNBA history.

Wilson has been the heart of this team, and the Aces clearly didn’t want to take any chances with their core. Team president Nikki Fargas made it clear how important she is, saying, “A’ja is truly one of one, who has led this franchise to where it is today.” Keeping her was the final step in making sure their championship group stays together.

Along with Wilson, the Aces have already secured key players like Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray and Jewell Loyd. This group has now won three titles in the last four seasons, and they look fully focused on continuing that run.

Last season, Wilson once again proved why she’s at the top. She averaged 23.4 points per game, led the league in scoring and blocks, and also picked up another MVP award. She even shared Defensive Player of the Year honors, showing her impact on both ends of the court.

Her dominance is becoming hard to match. No player in WNBA history has more MVP awards than her, and she continues to put up numbers no one else has managed consistently.

Coach Becky Hammon summed it up best when talking about her superstar, saying, “She’s alone on Mount Everest.”

The Aces also added Chennedy Carter on a training camp deal, giving her another shot in the league. But with a veteran team and strong leadership, it’s clear that the focus remains on winning and keeping distractions away.

With their core locked in and Wilson leading the way, Las Vegas is not just defending a title — they’re building a dynasty.
