Highlight of the story: The Indiana Fever, despite season-ending injuries to five players including Caitlin Clark, have pushed the Las Vegas Aces to a winner-take-all Game 5 in the WNBA semifinals. Aliyah Boston led Indiana’s Game 4 win with 24 points and 14 rebounds, while MVP A’ja Wilson powers the Aces. The victor advances to face the Phoenix Mercury in the Finals.

The Indiana Fever is just one win away from playing the WNBA finals after tying 2-2 in the semifinals series against the Las Vegas Aces. The fever will take on the Aces on Tuesday at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas for a decisive Game 5.

The winner is set to face the four-seeded Phoenix Mercury, who advanced on Sunday after defeating the Minnesota Lynx.

Despite losing five players to season-ending injuries, including the rookie sensation Caitlin Clark, the team exceeded all expectations in this postseason.

The Indiana Fever forward Aliyah Boston, who set the pace for the Fever with 24 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists in Game 4, said they continue to rely on the same strategy and prioritize an unselfish style of play.

Boston emphasised the team's mentality, saying, “We over me. That’s been our identity the entire season. We've all we got, we all we need. The beauty of this squad, whether you’re hurt or you’re not, everything that you do is for the betterment of this team for every win. That’s how we approach every single day in practice, film, and every game.”

The WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson continues to remain the dominant force for the Aces by averaging 24.7 points and 9.3 rebounds throughout the postseason. With the home court advantage, the Las Vegas Aces are hoping to return to the finals for the third time in the last four years.

Game 5 of the semifinal series between the Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces will air on ESPN2, and the streaming will be available on Fubo and ESPN Unlimited.
