Caitlin Clark is officially the latest WNBA player to join Nike’s roster of signature athletes. On Monday, the multinational sportswear brand unveiled a custom logo featuring two interlocking Cs to represent the Indiana Fever guard.
Nike plans to launch Clark’s first full signature shoe and apparel collection next year. However, fans won’t have to wait that long, as a special Fever-themed navy blue and yellow T-shirt is set to drop on September 1, followed by her logo collection, featuring T-shirts, hoodies, shorts, and pants, which will be available starting October 1.
In a statement, Clark shared her excitement over the collaboration, calling it a dream come true. “Nike’s signature roster features all-time greats, and I am incredibly proud to join some of the best athletes in the world,” she added. “I’m excited to share a first look at what we’ve started to create together.”
Clark has been sidelined due to a groin injury this season, missing 24 games so far, including the last 15. She is showing progress, having recently joined her teammates in Minnesota for a pregame shootaround after not practising or playing since mid-July.
Clark is averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, and 5.0 rebounds in the 13 games she played this season. Just in her second WNBA season, she is already elevating the game by increasing ticket sales and viewership in the games she plays. After setting the NCAA all-time scoring record and adding the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year to her résumé, Clark’s upcoming Nike deal will mark another major step in her career.
