No. 9 TCU routs Arkansas-Pine Bluff as Olivia Miles records third straight triple-double
No. 9 TCU dominated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 109-54 at home, led by Olivia Miles’ 25-point triple-double—her third straight this season. Five Horned Frogs scored in double figures as TCU shot 63% from the field and outrebounded the Golden Lions 52-18. The win extended TCU’s home streak to 33, the longest active nationally.
No. 9-ranked TCU defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 109-54 at Schollmaier Arena, Fort Worth, on Tuesday night.


Olivia Miles led the horned frogs in scoring by posting her season high of 25 points. She had 11 assists and grabbed 10 rebounds, making it her third consecutive triple-double this season. The former Notre Dame transfer currently leads with 9 career triple-doubles among all active players, and the only players to surpass this are Sabrina Ionescu with 26 triple-doubles and Caitlin Clark with 17.


Miles is also the only third player to score three straight triple-doubles behind Danielle Carson and Chastadie Barrs. Carson scored her consecutive triple double on December 2, 1985, for Youngstown State, while Chastadie Barrs had her three in a row for Lamar in January 2019.


Five players from the Horned Frogs scored in double figures. Graduate transfer Marta Suarez recorded her first career triple-double with 20 points, no assists, and 10 rebounds. The senior forward previously played for Tennessee and Cal. Donovan Hunter contributed 18 points, and sophomore centre Clara Silva had 14 points. Taylor Bigby chipped in 10 points to seal the victory against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.


TCU put up an all-around performance by shooting 63% from the field and finished with a 52-18 rebounding advantage.

This win extended the program’s winning streak at home to 33.


Indiana Bowen led the Golden Lions' scorecard with 18 points, while Jailah Pelly had 17 and Jayla Cornelius added 13.


TCU is currently having the longest active home win streak nationally and will host Kansas State on Sunday to play its Big 12 opener.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff will play Tulsa on Thursday.
