The Southern Jaguars players scored in single digits to combine a total of 37 points. The Bruins' defence restricted the Jaguars' form of scoring and forced five turnovers. DeMya Porter led the Southern Jaguars in scoring with 8 points and four rebounds.

Jaylia Reed knocked down a three-pointer that was the Jaguars' second three-point shot in the game. That shot from Reed also ended Southern’s scoring drought, which began midway through the first quarter.

During the Third quarter of the game, the Jaguars posted 13 points, and Bruins Angela Dugalic scored seven points at the end of that quarter that helped UCLA take a 72-21 lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter.

Both Southern UCLA had 16 points at the end of the fourth quarter; however, the Bruins' dominance throughout the game gained them 57 57-point lead and sealed the victory over the Southern Jaguars.

The Southern Jaguars are set to face Washington on Tuesday night.
