Bill Clinton reportedly smiled while looking through Epstein-related photos during a congressional deposition before his lawyers removed them. He denied wrongdoing and said he had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, while also stating Donald Trump never indicated involvement.
Former US President Bill Clinton was reportedly flipping through old photographs linked to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during his closed-door deposition before a congressional panel, smiling at the images until his attorneys stepped in and removed them, according to people familiar with the testimony.

Clinton appeared before the House Oversight Committee as part of an ongoing investigation into Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking minors.

Sources said the photos were part of material presented to Clinton while lawmakers questioned him about his past relationship with Epstein, including trips he took in the early 2000s connected to humanitarian work through the Clinton Foundation.

At one point during the session, Clinton reportedly looked through several images from the Epstein files and smiled, prompting his legal team to intervene and take the photos away before questioning continued.

During the deposition, Clinton maintained that he had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes at the time of their association and said he ended contact with the financier before Epstein’s 2008 conviction became public.

Both Clinton and current US President Donald Trump appear in documents released from the Epstein files, but neither has been formally accused of wrongdoing.

Clinton told investigators that Trump never said anything to him that suggested involvement in illegal activity related to Epstein.

Clinton’s wife, Hillary Clinton, also testified before the committee and said she had no personal relationship with Epstein. She added that investigators should question Trump under oath if they want a complete understanding of Epstein’s network.

The congressional probe into Epstein’s connections with powerful figures is continuing, with additional witnesses expected to testify in the coming weeks.
