Savannah Guthrie and her family are offering an additional reward of up to $1 million for information leading to the whereabouts of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing since February 1st, believed to be abducted from her Tucson, Arizona home. The "Today" show co-host made the announcement on social media, expressing hope for her mother's return while acknowledging the possibility she may be deceased. The FBI is also offering a $100,000 reward, and the family is donating $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The announcement of the increased reward was made on social media by Savannah Guthrie. She posted a new video to Instagram detailing the family's ongoing efforts. The family is desperate to know what has happened to Nancy Guthrie.

"She may already be gone. She may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother Pierce and with our daddy," Guthrie said in the video. This statement reflects the family's deep emotional struggle and their acceptance of potential outcomes.

Despite the difficult circumstances, the family remains hopeful for Nancy Guthrie's safe return. "And if this is what is to be, then we will accept it, but we need to know where she is. We need her to come home," Guthrie stated. This highlights their primary need for closure and reunion.

Nancy Guthrie has been missing for 24 days. Investigators believe she was abducted from her home in Tucson, Arizona. The abduction is thought to have occurred in the dark of night.

"It is Day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark of night from her bed, and every hour and minute and second and every long night has been agony since then of worrying about her and fearing for her and aching for her and most of all just missing her," Guthrie shared. This quote conveys the profound distress the family has endured.

The family believes that someone possesses crucial information. They are appealing directly to the public for assistance. "Someone out there knows something that can bring her home," Guthrie said.

"Somebody knows, and we are begging you to please come forward now," she urged. This is a direct plea for anyone with knowledge to come forward.

Guthrie also encouraged continued support through prayer. The family is holding onto faith for a positive resolution. "We still believe in a miracle," Guthrie said.

"We still believe that she can come home. Hope against hope, as my sister says. We are blowing on the embers of hope," she added. This emphasizes their persistent hope despite the prolonged absence.

Savannah Guthrie has been actively sharing updates and appeals. She has posted other social media videos with her sister Annie and brother Camron. These videos have been part of their coordinated effort to raise awareness.

In some of these videos, the family addressed those who sent an apparent ransom note. The note was sent to CBS Tucson affiliate KOLD-TV. It demanded payment in bitcoin.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos provided a statement regarding the investigation. He confirmed that all of the Guthrie siblings and their spouses have been cleared. They are not considered suspects in the case.

The FBI is also actively involved in the search. They are offering a $100,000 reward for information. The FBI encourages anyone with information to contact their tip line. The tip line number is 1-800-CALL-FBI, which is 1-800-225-5324.

In addition to the search efforts, the Guthrie family is making a significant donation. They will be donating $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. This donation aims to support other families facing similar situations.

"We know there are millions of families that have suffered with this kind of uncertainty," Guthrie said. This statement acknowledges the widespread nature of such tragedies.

"We are hoping that the attention that has been given to our mom and our family will extend to all the families like ours who are in need and need prayers and need support," she concluded. This expresses their desire to help others through their experience.
