Season 4 Part 2 comes to Netflix on February 26 at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT. This new part will include the remaining four episodes, completing the eight-episode season. Part 1 debuted on January 29 and left viewers on a dramatic cliffhanger. All previous seasons of Bridgerton Seasons 1 through 3 are currently available on Netflix.Benedict and Sophie’s painful misunderstanding

Season 4 focuses on Mr. Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, whose romantic storyline draws inspiration from a Cinderella-like tale. At Lady Violet Bridgerton’s much-anticipated masquerade ball, Benedict encounters the mysterious “Lady in Silver,” played by Yerin Ha as Sophie Baek. Their connection is instant, filled with playful banter, dancing, and a stolen kiss.

But when the clock strikes midnight and the masks come off, the Lady in Silver escapes, leaving behind only a glove — a clear nod to the Cinderella story. This disappearance sends Benedict on a romantic quest, aided partly by whispers from Lady Whistledown, portrayed by Nicola Coughlan.

Unbeknownst to Benedict, the elusive Lady in Silver and Sophie Baek are the same person. After rescuing Sophie from an attack and spending time with her at the Bridgerton countryside cottage, he develops deeper feelings for her. When they return to Mayfair, Benedict finds her a position as a maid at the Bridgerton household.

However, his declaration of love comes in the worst way possible. Instead of proposing marriage, Benedict asks Sophie to be his mistress — a suggestion she firmly rejects. This misunderstanding leaves both characters hurt and viewers frustrated.

Thompson has hinted that the couple has “completely misunderstood each other,” creating what he describes as an emotional knot that seems nearly impossible to untie. Part 2 is expected to explore whether Benedict can face his privilege and pride, and whether Sophie can trust him again.

Familiar faces return to Mayfair

Part 2 will also feature the long-awaited return of Viscount Anthony Bridgerton, played by Jonathan Bailey, bringing more drama and family dynamics into the mix. As the ton prepares for another grand ball, Queen Charlotte’s bet on Benedict’s marriage looms large, raising the stakes for his romantic future.

With heartbreak, hidden identities, and fairy-tale themes driving the story, Season 4 Part 2 promises heightened emotions and long-overdue revelations.
