Mitchell also had four assists while Boston finished with three assists and five rebounds. Natasha Howard chipped in 12 points and five rebounds.
Injury-plagued Indiana set the tone early and opened up a 30-19 point lead, only for Atlanta to close the deficit to 35-29 after Alisha gray scored a 3-pointer to end the second quarter. However, the fever responded with intensity and ended the third quarter on a 7-0 run before beginning the fourth with an 8-0 surge extending the lead to 67-44 and ensuring the outcome.
Atlanta, which won game 1 of the best-of-three series, struggled to find rhythm. The dream was limited to just 60 points after averaging 85 points per game in the regular season. Te-Hina Paopao paced the team with 11 points while Howard put up 10 points. Alisha gray played through the foul trouble, contributing 9 points and seven rebounds.
Later in the fourth quarter, Gray was involved in a brief verbal exchange with two fans in the front row, resulting in both fans being escorted out of the arena by security.
